Wine and Spirits Department

The Wine and Spirits Department represents an exciting new challenge for Nomisma Aste, which has its roots in numismatics and, two years ago, decided to open this new department. Under the guidance of Valentina Montagna, WSET Level 2 certified and FISAR Sommelier, our team combines extensive knowledge and passion for fine wines and exceptional spirits. The team carefully researches prestigious bottles, selecting and describing them with great attention to detail. Each bottle is thoroughly inspected to verify its level, capsules, and labels, ensuring optimal preservation.

The Most Renowned Italian Wine Labels

We search for labels from across Italy; notable examples include prestigious Tuscan bottles such as Masseto, Sassicaia, Ornellaia, Solaia, Tignanello, and Le Pergole Torte, in addition to the famous Brunello di Montalcino from Soldera or Biondi Santi. Of great interest are also the Piedmont labels, Barolo and Barbaresco, under big names like Giacomo Conterno, Giuseppe Rinaldi, Gaja, Bruno Giacosa, Mascarello, and many others. We are proud of the Veneto region’s king, Amarone, from the Bertani, Dal Forno, and Quintarelli wineries. Other important names include San Leonardo in Trentino, Valentini in Abruzzo, and Mastroberardino in Campania

French Wines and Champagne at Auction

We cannot overlook Bordeaux and Burgundy wines. Iconic French Châteaux, such as Margaux, Latour, Petrus, Mouton Rothschild, Lafite Rothschild, Haut-Brion, Cheval Blanc, Yquem, and the most important Burgundy Domaines like Romanée-Conti, Méo-Camuzet, Liger-Belair, and Sauzet. Of course, we also offer the finest French sparkling wines, including Champagne Krug, Champagne Dom Pérignon, Champagne Salon, and Champagne Cristal.
