Verona, Tuesday, April 23, 2024. The countdown is on for Nomisma Auction’s Watch Auction, the annual event by the Verona-based auction house dedicated to the sale of prestigious watches, pens, and other collectible items.
The auction will take place on Sunday, May 5, 2024, starting at 3:00 PM CEST in the stunning setting of Villa Mosconi Bertani, a beautiful venue nestled in the heart of Valpolicella.
A selection of 186 lots will be auctioned, including watches, collectible pens, and memorabilia. This is an unmissable event for collectors and enthusiasts alike.
An exceptional auction showcasing the best brands in contemporary watchmaking, such as Omega. Among the featured models is the Speedmaster Apollo XI, a limited edition celebrating the 25th anniversary of the space mission that took the first men to the moon.
Notable pieces include models from the “Da Vinci” series by IWC and the Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Offshore Chronograph, known for being worn by actor Arnold Schwarzenegger in the movie Terminator 3.
Rolex highlights include the Daytona Beach Blue, the most sought-after color by collectors, the Daytona “Chocolate” with its characteristic chocolate-colored dial, and the Daytona 16518 with a Zenith movement and diamond index dial.
