F.S. built his collection with a true connoisseur’s approach, inheriting from his father not only a taste for excellence but, above all, the belief that every bottle treasures a story, a terroir, and an emotion. The resulting collection reflects this deep dedication—a journey defined by discovery, meticulous care, patience, and wonder.
This is a diverse and wide-ranging collection, capable of satisfying every type of collector: from the newcomer taking their first steps to the most seasoned expert in search of absolute rarities
Whisky: icons and rarities
The collection opens with a significant selection of Scotch whiskies, organized by style and distillery. It features names that make any enthusiast’s heart beat faster: from the peated spirits of Ardbeg and Bowmore to the timeless classics of Springbank and Talisker. A vast range that spans the Highlands, the Lowlands, and the Islands, offering a rich and complex aromatic profile.
The section dedicated to Macallan is, without a doubt, the beating heart of the collection.
Alongside recent releases such as the Harmony Collection and the Concept Limited Editions No. 2 and No. 3, the prestigious Artist Label 30 Years #10 and the Blue Label stand out, leading up to true connoisseur gems like the Macallan-Glenlivet Gordon & MacPhail 33 Year Old 1945 and 1946.
But dominating the scene, like a silent sovereign, is the Macallan 1928 – 50 Year Old, an absolute icon of global collecting.
Silver Seal: Elegance, Art, and Cult
Beginning with lot 170, the F.S. Collection opens a window into Silver Seal bottles—among the most beloved by collectors for their obsessive cask selection and the elegance of their labels. A historic brand that represents the very soul of independent bottling, now highly sought-after worldwide.
Rum: Caroni, Artistic Editions and Tropical rarities
The rum section is equally impressive, featuring six Valinch & Mallet – The Spirit of Art bottlings, which combine technical selection with artistic inspiration.
This is followed by a collection of Caroni—the legendary Trinidad distillery closed in 2002, which has since become an absolute myth in the world of collecting.
Cognac, Armagnac, and French Spirits
The F.S. collection continues with further distillates: Cognac, Bas Armagnac, and Armagnac, featuring highlights such as the Martell Cordon Bleu in a Baccarat Decanter and the Denis Mounie Hors d’Age Fine Champagne Cognac.
Romano Levi Grappa: Liquid Poetry
At lot 244, we encounter an exquisite series of Romano Levi Grappas.
Romano Levi produced unique bottles, each one graced by a hand-drawn label. These pieces unite artisanal craftsmanship, rural tradition, and an unrepeatable sensory quality: they are true pages of distilled poetry.
Great Wines in Magnums: A Grand Finale
Closing the collection is a selection of wines primarily in magnum format—widely considered the ideal size for a slower, more elegant maturation.
Among the most notable bottles are Tignanello 2017, Sassicaia 2012, and Le Serre Nuove dell’Ornellaia 2017 – 20th Anniversary. A perfect epilogue to a journey filled with emotion.
